Ionic and Covalent Compounds Properties

In conclusion of this lab report, I founded out that Ionic Compounds make crystals. Aslo in the case of which compounds was a better conductor, It ended up being the ionic compounds. That means my hypothesis was right sonce the water with salt ended up turning on the lightbulb and the water and water with sugar which were covalent did not. And finally in the experiement with the highest melting point, the covalent compounds ended up burning the faster. That also meant that my hypothesis was also right that ionic will melt with a highest temperature. The compounds that were covalent were the sugar and the starch and the ionic were manganese chloride and sodium chloride.
